Sixteen-year old Miranda Cosgrove, the star of Nickelodeon’s hit series “iCarly” is reported to earn $180,000 per episode. The fourth season of the show is scheduled to have 26 episodes. This translates to a salary of $4.68 million for the popular teen. It also makes her the second highest paid child actor on television.

Cosgrove began acting in TV commercials at the age of 3. In addition to a successful TV career, the actress has also appeared in a number of films and has gained popularity as a pop singer.  After a successful film debut in “School of Rock” in 2003, the young star was cast in the Nickelodeon show “Drake & Josh.” In 2007 she took the lead in “iCarly” which has won “Favorite TV Show” award at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards two years running.  The fourth season of “iCarly” is set to begin production in June 2010.
